"POWERING ZAMBIA'S FUTURE: PIONEERING POLICY, INNOVATION, AND PARTNERSHIPS FOR ENERGY SECURITY – FROM POLICY TO ACTION."

The Zambia Renewable Energy Association (ZARENA) invites researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and innovators to submit abstracts for presentation at the inaugural Zambia Annual Renewable Energy Conference 2026.

Submission Guidelines

Format: Microsoft Word format, A4 page, Times New Roman 11pt, single line spacing
Margins: 35mm left, 25mm other three sides
Word Limit: Maximum 300 words (including figures, tables, references)
Required Sections:
  • Title
  • Author(s) name, institution, contact information
  • Abstract (max 300 words)
  • Five (5) keywords
  • Preferred presentation category

Abstract Submission Deadline: 31 December 2025
Notification of Acceptance: 15 January 2026
Final Abstract Submission: 15 February 2026

Peer Review Process

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by experts from:

  • University of Zambia (UNZA)
  • Copperbelt University
  • Strathclyde University (GRC Network)
  • ZARENA's Technical Committee

Accepted authors will be invited to submit full papers for publication in the Conference Proceedings.
